You will receive an online gallery link with all of your photos within 2-3 weeks for any 1-hour session and 4-6 weeks for weddings. I often deliver galleries sooner so if you’re wanting to book a session but need your photos sooner than this time frame contact me and we’ll talk!

Each photo in your gallery will be edited in my style. All photos will be cropped to 4x6. I will also include some 8x10 highlights for easy printing. I do not have a maximum number of photos I include in a gallery. I will send you all the great photos from your session!

If you are the mom, I suggest that you start with your outfit first! Find something you love and feel comfortable in and then build everyone else’s outfits around that.

If you want a bold backdrop/location with lots of color or detail I suggest choosing neutrals and subtle patterns for your outfits. If you want a more neutral location then you can go for bold patterns or colors but pastel neutrals are also awesome. I recommend staying away from bright reds, yellows, and oranges. Variations of these colors like burgundy/wine, mustard or pastel yellow, and burnt orange or rust work well. Try to choose 3-5 coordinating colors. You can find lots of options searching online or I can send you some ideas!

Don’t force family members to wear something they’re not comfortable in. Try to let their individual style come through. If someone is happy with what he or she is wearing they will be happier in their photo!

Sharing my work on social media is a large part of what drives my business so I typically share highlights of each session on my Instagram a week or more after I have delivered your gallery. (I’m hoping you’ll share first!) I will never share a child’s name and rarely share anyone else’s name. Having said that, if you feel very strongly about not having your family or children’s photos shared on social media at all I will respect that and give you an opportunity to express that in my questionnaire. This will not apply to my website portfolio however. Thank you for your understanding.

Your gallery will always be available on my website! I store the original RAW, unedited files on a memory card for 30 days after your session and on my computer for 6 months.

I love real photos! By that I mean the type of photos that don’t look like they’ve had a ton of editing done to them. I believe that editing should enhance a photo or subject while still keeping it as real and natural as possible. I want to help you look like the best version of yourself in your photos! If you’ve earned your years, embrace & rock them! My editing style will soften and brighten. I always edit out small blemishes on skin & clothing. I do not do any head swapping or add family members into photos.

I put a lot of love, effort, and time into creating a consistent, beautiful & bright style in all of my photographs. I hope that is one of the reasons you want to hire me and it is what I am committed to delivering to you! Because of that, editing style decisions are solely mine. Go with a photographer whose style you love whether that’s me or someone else. Photographers take a lot of pride in our work and don’t love seeing our work online re-edited by clients. If you share someone else’s work please keep it their work so you’re not misrepresenting them. :)

It should be very easy to download your gallery to your phone or computer as well as upload to a printing site. I would recommend uploading to a printing site from your computer rather than your phone because the photo files are large and make sure you are using Wi-Fi. A lot of people wonder why photographers charge so much for what seems like a 1-hour session, but in addition to the time spent at the actual session, photographers also spend a lot of time scouting locations and editing your photos, so the price of your session includes all of that time & experience. We also have other expenses for things such as our website, booking apps, etc. We are also always investing in our education and equipment. Charging what we do is how we make a living. :)

My commitment is to always put my heart & soul into every session and deliver consistent editing and beautiful images you will love, so this has never been an issue and I hope it never will be! Once your gallery has been delivered I do not offer a refund because it is a digital product but please reach out if I have overlooked something in your gallery. My whole goal is for you to be happy!

I do offer refunds for the following:
1) In case of inclement weather the day of your session and either you or I are unable to reschedule in a timely manner (usually within 4 weeks).
2) I will refund the $50 initial payment if you need to cancel your session and let me know no later than 24 hours before our scheduled session.
